PI is the largest interest group for industrial communication technologies. The international PI community connects expertise, companies, and people - regionally and globally!
PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. (PNO) is one of the 24 Regional PI Associations (RPA) and is responsible for the membership of companies with branches in D-A-CH region. Membership is open to all companies, associations, institutes, as well as individuals who support the interests of PNO as manufacturers, providers, users, or operators of PROFIBUS, PROFINET, IO-Link, MTP, and omlox systems.
→ When applying, please designate a main contact person who speaks and understands German, as all communications are currently conducted in German. On the other hand, we recommend membership in another RPA. Please see the list.

The applying company is…
… a manufacturer of products with PI technologies.
… a provider of products & services with PI technologies in the areas of system integration, engineering, testing, consulting, and technology transfer.
… a end user that does not market products & services with PI technologies (e.g., plant operators and machine builders).
… a university, institute, or association.
The membership fee is based on the type (see above) and size of the company (number of employees at the time of joining*) and is structured as follows:

Our Association Documents
All relevant association documents are listed here and must be read and accepted with the membership application.
The member company must ensure that its employees are familiar with the TC/WG Guidelines and follow them during their work in the working groups.
Articles of Association
The association's responsibilities are set out in the statutes, which were last updated on 24 April 1996. Membership is open to companies and research institutions in Germany and abroad.
