Does the membership cost anything?
No, student membership is free of charge.
How long is the membership valid?
It is valid for the duration of your studies - typically up to 5 years - and ends automatically afterwards. If needed, it can be converted into a regular membership.
How do I apply?
Please fill out the registration form and email it together with your proof of enrollment/school attendance certificate to maria.mueller(at)profibus(dot)com.
Which documents are required?
A current proof of enrollment/school attendance (e.g., enrollment certificate or school certificate).
How long does processing take?
You will usually receive confirmation within a few business days (provided all documents are complete).

Can I attend trade fairs and events?
Yes. You can receive free trade fair tickets (e.g., SPS, Hannover Messe, etc.) including access to student tours. You may also have the chance to receive complimentary tickets for selected PI events (conferences and more).
Do I get access to specifications and documents?
You will receive access to the content in the members’ area that is approved for students. If you require specific documents beyond that, you can request them individually.
How will my data be used?
Your data will be used only to manage your membership and to inform you about relevant offers/events (see privacy policy for details).
What happens after I graduate?
Your student membership ends automatically after your studies (at the latest after 5 years) or can be transferred into a regular membership if desired.
