This webinar explains the PROFINET testing and certification process: The goal is to ensure the quality, interoperability, and availability of devices. To this end, standardized tests (including Netload/robustness) are conducted in defined test environments. Manufacturers use PI’s test bundles and other tools as early as the development phase. Certification takes place at the end of the process. Various types of certificates, as well as rules regarding changes and validity, are also explained.
