"Certified PROFIBUS Installer" (2.5 days)

The qualification as a Certified PROFIBUS Installer by Indu-Sol imparts specific expertise to your staff in order to master the PROFIBUS communication technology and thus to ensure the competitiveness of your company. The participants are qualified in theory and practice of PROFIBUS DP/PA within 2 days. They can deepen their acquired knowledge in practice-oriented exercises. Finally on day 3, they are obliged to take the exam for "Certified Installer". The training course enables your staff to prevent mistakes in planning, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of PROFIBUS and ensure a reliable performance of your network. The content of the training and the final examination have been certified by PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI). After successful completion of the 1.5 hour examination, the participants receive an official certificate as a proof of their qualification as a Certified PROFIBUS Installer.
Target Group
Specialists working in the field of PROFIBUS-based industrial plants, in particular:
- Maintenance and repair personnel
- Automation engineers
- Engineers in plant construction
- Service technicians
- Fitters / commissioning engineers
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation is recommended.
The training is structured in such a way that all participants are introduced to the topic of PROFIBUS in an easy and uncomplicated way.
Examination
The certificate examination consists of a theoretical part (38 multiple-choice questions) and a practical part (troubleshooting and commissioning). Both parts of the exam are scheduled to take 45 minutes each. The exam is conducted according to the official PI specifications.
For optimal preparation, relevant topics are repeated compactly on the day of the exam and practice exercises are set.
